JUDGEMENT
How about this for a crazy idea. Put yourself on a mental diet. For 5 straight days; No negative thoughts. If you have a negative thought just put it aside or at least not act on it or restate something positively. Or at the very least feel the negativity intensely then let it go. QUICKLY!
By the way during those 5 days something really negative is going to happen to you to test you but try to focus on the solution rather than the problem, be positive instead of negative, and try to be curious instead of judgmental.
CHOOSE to be perceptive about what is going on behind the scenes rather than judging people harshly. Finding fault with others or constantly noticing what's wrong and being angry with a person i. e. how they wronged you, or feeling they are too proud or egotistical or don't care about others enough and judging will eventually cause you to VERY INTENSELY JUDGE YOURSELF.
Try to catch toxic thoughts right away and dispel them rather than act or dwell on them. It's really important to try to comprehend before judging. Why is this person the way they are?
Another thing is not to judge yourself so harshly. Everybody makes mistakes. They say things they might later regret or do things wrongly or make poor decisions. None of us are perfect. As long as you learn from mistakes and don't give up on yourself you'll be fine.
If each day you try to do more be more contribute more everything will be alright. Try to learn from mistakes. Not quitting is all that matters. Perfection is not our goal; only progress. If you've survived this long with all you've been through you'll continue to be okay. So resist the urge to continually EVALUATE or COMPARE (comparison is the basis of neurosis) or ANALyze.
